I transitioned to Waterfox. It has a couple issues such as being unable to login to my banking services and getting Youtube to sign into Google's SSO but I hope to resolve at a later time. Be prepared to reconfigure all your extensions again though..
This is very old news, but I'm glad the word is getting out. Firefox is an ad-tech company now and should be avoided.
